Healbean is a specialty coffee company created in 2024 by Jacc Summit based in Scottsdale, Arizona. Our coffee is grown with love and roasted with love. We are dedicated to bringing joy to the lives of coffee drinkers worldwide.

Coffee Sourcing
An excellent cup of coffee starts with sourcing high-quality, ethically produced green coffee. In its basic form, coffee is a fruit, and just like choosing an apple from the store, choosing the right coffee can make all the difference.
How We Source:
Green Coffee Sourcing
Our process begins by sourcing exceptional green coffee, and supporting the communities that grow it. All of our coffee's are graded and certified as "Specialty Grade Craft Coffee" according to the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) guidelines.
100% Specialty Coffee
All of our sourced coffee exceeds a Q score of 80 certifying that all Healbean coffee is Speciality Coffee.
B-Corp
All of our import partners are certified B-Corp meaning they abide by strict sustainability and ethical standards in their business practices.

Farmers
All of our coffee is highly traceable and purchased from a select group of producers who have an excellent track record of growing specialty coffee.

Roasting
All of our coffee is small batch roasted (<60kg per roast) in the Pacific Northwest USA. Our commitment to small batch ensures consistent, repeatable, and superior quality roasts, every time. Our roasting team oversees every step of the coffee production process, from sourcing to roasting, inspecting, and quality control. Our team is obsessive about the smallest details to guarantee quality coffee every time.

GREEN COFFEE
As a pre-requisite to roasting, we evaluate each coffee and confirm it meets a minimum standard Q-grade qualifying it for "specialty" grade.

ROASTING
Each roast is hand roasted following a custom roast profile. A small-batch approach is utilized to ensure sufficient agitation and even roasting.

INSPECTION
Prior to packaging, each roast is visually inspected and passed through a magnetic de-stoning device to remove all impurities.

QUALITY
Roasts are cupped, sampled, and graded as part of our qualitative review process.

FRESHNESS
We take a small-batch approach to coffee roasting to guarantee quality and freshness. We roast to order in small batches (60 kg max). On average, coffee is shipped within 10 days of roasting.

CONSISTENCY
We develop custom roasts for each coffee to highlight their unique flavor profiles and characteristics. A scorecard is developed to grade each batch and confirm these unique characteristics are present in every roast.

Our roasted coffee is consistently and strictly cupped (tasted) following the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA).
